Howdy all,

Here is some news from NCA. The meeting was sparsely attended, so we
figured it would be better to do business here.

1) We need a new secretary and a new program planner/vice chair. If you are
interested, let me know by this Wednesday if possible. If we have more than
one person interested in a position, I will send a poll out to the
membership for a vote. I want to move on this quickly so we can get that
person to the planning trainings NCA offers.

2) We were unsure of the status of the next triennial. So we wanted to poke
the listserve for more conversation.

2a) There was also a conversation asking about the status of the journal,
but we could not give updates.

3) Slots are down for everyone at NCA next year (we are down to 2 slots),
and the 7 am business meetings have not drawn people, so we figured it
would be better to do our business digitally (since we are an affiliate not
a division, we have more flexibility about how we would do this).

4) When you search the journal in google, you get redirected to a spam page
(it works on other search engines). We need to work with Google to fix
this. Going to the URL directly (kbjournal.org) works, so we should do that
(or use bing) for now.
