I don't know if you have found the extra participant, yet, but my book Psychotic Entelechy: The Dangers of Spiritual Gifts Theology deals precisely with this topic as it relates to bin Laden and David Koresh.  I might be interested.

Dear Burkelers--


I'm putting together a panel for NCA's convention in Las Vegas in November and I need one more participant. The topic is rhetoric, religion, and war. it doesn't need to be Burkeian (though it could be). I'm particiularly interested in exploring how otherwise peaceful religions are used to justify war. We're on a tight deadline, so let me know if you're interested.
