<div class="ContentPasted3">The Kenneth Burke Interest Group invites submissions for the 114th Eastern Communication Association Annual Conference (<i style=""><b>March 20-24, 2024, in Cambridge, MA</b></i>). While all papers and panel proposals shall be considered,
those that address the conference theme (<b><i>Currents</i></b>) will be particularly welcome. Submissions may include competitive papers or panels.</div>

<div class="ContentPasted3">Please encourage your undergraduate and graduate students submit papers and panels to the Kenneth Burke Interest Group. In this interest group specifically and in Burke studies in general, it has been our tradition that we honor
and promote student scholarship and scholarly work. We recognize that they are the future of the discipline. You can also request co-sponsored panels, when it is fitting, since Burke studies often involve multidisciplinary approaches.</div>

</i></b></div>

<div class="ContentPasted3">Submission of program/panel proposals should include the following elements:</div>

<li style="list-style-type: "1. ";">A thematic title for the program.</li><li class="ContentPasted3" style="list-style-type: "2. ";">Names of the chair and respondents (if any). Chairs should not also be designated as respondents.</li><li class="ContentPasted3" style="list-style-type: "3. ";">Names, mailing addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, and institutional affiliations of all participants.</li><li class="ContentPasted3" style="list-style-type: "4. ";">Titles and abstracts for each paper or presentation.</li><li class="ContentPasted3" style="list-style-type: "5. ";">A program copy (no more than a 75-word description) as it should appear in the final program.</li><li class="ContentPasted3" style="list-style-type: "6. ";">A detailed rationale for the program/panel.</li><li class="ContentPasted3" style="list-style-type: "7.
