Hello Fellow Burke Enthusiasts,
My name is Cody Hunter and I’m working with a graduate student, Quinn
Dannies, at the University of Nevada, Reno to compile a list of Burke’s
animal metaphors for an art installation on campus. We’re reaching out to
this community to help us gather these metaphors.
Here’s what we need:
-
The animal, a quote, or summary of the passage from the text
Here’s what we’d also like (but don’t need unless it’s convenient):
-
The book, article, etc. it comes from (or archival collection
information/scan)
Our goal for this project is to inspire greater curiosity about and
enthusiasm for Burke’s work at UNR and, hopefully, at other universities
and in public spaces if all goes well. Please reply to this post if you
can think of any critters, we’re grateful for your help and support for
this project (and thank you to everyone at the KB Triennial who already
contributed).
All the very best,
Cody Hunter
