Dear all,

The biannual conference of the Rhetoric Society of Europe is indeed coming to Ghent. We decided to build on the theme from the KB conference we organized in Ghent now already six years ago. We hope that you will join us for continuing our discussions on rhetoric as equipment for living.

Very best regards,

Kris

> Below is a Call for Papers for the semi-annual conference of Rhetoric Society of Europe (this year in Ghent). As you can see from the CfP, this year's conference for the first time will have a Kenneth Burke focus. This is a great opportunity to give more rhetoricians in Europe greater familiarity with Kenneth Burke's work and it would be great to have some Burkeans from the US come to share some of their insights and knowledge.

> RiS7: CALL FOR PAPERS
> Dear members of the Rhetoric Society of Europe,
>
> We are very happy to announce that proposals are now invited for panels, papers, roundtables and other forms of presentation to be delivered at Rhetoric in Society 7, which is the biannual conference organized by the Rhetoric Society of Europe. The conference will take place from September 11th to 13th 2019 at the Department of Educational Studies of Ghent University in Ghent, Belgium. As you might know, the conference was initially planned to take place at the University of Pavia but due to unforeseen circumstances we re-located the conference to Ghent. We hope that you will join us in what promises to be a stimulating and engaging conference.
