Call for Nominations for Editor of KB Journal

The Kenneth Burke Society is seeking nominations (including self-nominations) for editor of KB Journal. The editorship is for a three-year term beginning with the Fall 2008 issue. Nominations should describe the candidate’s qualifications for the position. Self-nominations should include goals for the Journal, a description of which also will be sought from those nominated by others. The editor-elect will begin working with the current editors shortly after earning appointment to ensure a smooth transition.

Editor candidates need not have strong web development skills, since separate recruiting will be undertaken to handle this technical side of the journal. Experience in managing a website is useful.

Nominations and self-nominations should be submitted by February 1, 2008 to Clarke Rountree and Mark Huglen via email at Clarke.Rountree@uah.edu and MHuglen@umn.edu. The Executive Committee of the Kenneth Burke Society will name an editor-elect by March 15, 2008. Procedures for rotating the editorship of KB Journal will be finalized at the Business Meeting of the Society's 7th Triennial Conference at Villanova University, June 29-July 1, 2008.
